    Our company is actively recruiting personal bodyguards to join our growing team of personal protection specialists and help us keep our clients safe while vacating in Greece. Our diverse clientele includes public figures, the wealthy, and corporate executives. Both male and female agents and all nationals are encouraged to apply.   • Unarmed Ship Security Officer (SSO)

    We are hiring multiple Unarmed Ship Security Officers (SSO) to protect cargo ships on the high seas in South America. 


    NOTE: Candidates must be US citizens based in the USA — No exceptions.


    OVERVIEW


    The SSO is pivotal in maritime security compliance, safeguarding the ship, crew, and cargo. The SSO is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the Ship Security Plan (SSP), coordinating with ship officers and crew, and liaising with company representatives and port authorities to uphold the vessel's security integrity.  


    This role demands proactive risk assessment, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining security awareness and vigilance across all ship operations.  


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 


    Security Management: 

    • Conduct regular security inspections to maintain the vessel's security integrity.
    • Implement and sustain the Ship Security Plan (SSP), ensuring compliance with maritime security standards.
    • Propose and implement modifications to the SSP as needed, considering evolving risks and ship-specific requirements.
    • Monitor and report threats, risks, and security incidents to the company and the Master.  

    Crew Training and Awareness:  

    • Ensure crew members are adequately trained in security protocols and procedures.
    • Conduct drills and exercises to enhance crew readiness and vigilance.
    • Promote security awareness and best practices among crew members.  

    Operational Coordination:

    • Oversee the secure handling of cargo and stocks during ship operations.
    • Coordinate security measures in critical areas such as cargo handling, engine room operations, and ship stores.
    • Collaborate with shipboard personnel and port authorities to ensure secure operations.  

    Equipment and System Maintenance:

    • Ensure all security equipment is operational, regularly tested, calibrated, and maintained.  

    Security Assessments:  

    • Participate in Ship Security Assessments (SSA) to evaluate and mitigate potential threats.
    • Provide recommendations for enhancing security measures based on assessment outcomes. 

    QUALIFICATIONS:
